Airport Clinic, Inc. is looking for a front desk receptionist to join our team. The candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and and will be able to efficiently answer telephones, greet patients/visitors in a professional manner. The candidate needs to be a team player.

Responsibilities: Front Office Medical Receptionist

  • Greeting Patients: As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. You’ll welcome them at the front desk or check out desk, directing them appropriately.
  • Phone Management: You’ll answer incoming phone calls, screen them, and forward them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Administrative Support: Providing basic information in person or via email, maintaining office supplies, and updating calenders. Other administrative duties as assigned by office manager.
  • Security and Access Control: Ensuring office security by following safety procedures and managing access via the reception desk.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Scheduling appointments via phone or at the time of visit.
  • Insurance: Inputting patient’s insurance in the computer system, verification of insurance
  • Collections: collecting co-pays, co-insurances, self pay, patient balances
  • Additional Daily Duties: handling paperwork, scanning, obtaining/assisting with new patient forms, established patient forms, data entry in patient charts. Maintaining Medical Records.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Job Type: Front Office Medical Receptionist Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Qualifications: Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred but not required, proficient in using phone systems, strong typing skills with accuracy, exceptional customer service skills with ability to handle difficult situations professionally, detail-oriented with organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, strong communication skills verbally and written, ability to work well in a team environment.

Education: High school or equivalent

Experience: Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
