This position is responsible for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, processing insurance claims, handling referrals, posting payments, assisting in setting up patient payment plans, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. The specialist must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with medical office software systems. In addition to handling administrative and patient-facing duties, the Medical Office Specialist should demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, providers, and management, while also being capable of working independently.

  • Greet and assist patients, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers.
